Caro Cuore Launches Lingerie Brand in U.S.

    Chicagoland's Woodfield Shopping Center Site of First US Retail Store

    CHICAGO, Dec. 16 /PRNewswire/ -- Caro Cuore, a premium lingerie company
with 72 retail outlets in 15 countries, announced today the opening of its
first store in the United States, located in the Woodfield Shopping Center in
Schaumburg, Ill., a Chicago suburb.
    Caro Cuore stores on Chicago's North Michigan Avenue, as well as in Los
Angeles and Miami are scheduled to open in 2004 and will be managed by the
brand's master US franchise CC, LLC.

    Located on the Ground Level near Marshall Field's, Caro Cuore carries a
selection of styles from its most popular lines of bras, underwear, hosiery,
sleepwear and athletic wear.  Prices range from $12.90 for bikini cotton
underwear from the Basic line to $295.90 for the "Moulin Rouge" corset with
tulle and French lace edging.
    Founded in Argentina in 1979 by Drescher and his wife Rosita, Caro Cuore,
which means "sweet heart" in Italian, uses select European raw materials such
as tulle, lace, cotton and Lycra in its interpretation of fashion trends and

on American runways and in fashion magazines, are featured throughout the
store and in Caro Cuore's marketing materials.
